5 hours of sleep a night, 10 diapers a day, 0 trips farther than 5 miles from home. That's what I call a routine!
Things have improved a lot in this second week of Emmett's life. He is on a (semi)regular feeding schedule and sleeps fairly well (last night being a glaring exception). This has allowed us to take longer and longer excursions. Yesterday, we took a long walk through the Mission district and had lunch out. Unimaginable a week ago...
Today we're going to try to go to Golden Gate Park for a picnic. Wish us luck.

So good to hear that things are settling down a bit - you deserve it! Hope you had fun at the park - it's great that you're getting out a bit!
